Whether you are getting ready for a Santa Cruz family photoshoot or a Santa Cruz Business branding photoshoot sometimes we’re running around town last minute trying to find the perfect details!
Here are some of my favorite Local Santa Cruz shops that have a few of my favorite goodies:
From facial care, props, and toys, to shoes or clothing!
First off, let me start by saying: when you book a Santa Cruz photo session with me, I NEVER expect you to do any prep work or show up in any other way, other than authentically you. You can show up barefoot and naked for all I care, and we will make absolute magic!
But I also know that some of you take this opportunity to really treat yourself and make this experience an act of self-love or an intentional way to bond and be present!
Self-Care and Beautification:
Again, you are perfect just the way you are, but I do love a good facial or massage to rejuvenate and feel relaxed either before or after your family photography or Branding session. My current favorite place is YOSO Wellness Spa.
From therapeutic facials, acupuncture, and massages, Jennalee and her incredible staff bring your energy to another level of relaxation.
Often times, the act of self-care comes from treating ourselves to a new outfit that makes us feel fire!
I do have some online shops that make this easier on my busy schedule sometimes but I’ll save that post for another day!

For Jewelry, teas and Bath and body treats all in one place, I am obsessed with
Sonia and her amazing team do an incredible job curating thoughtufl and stylish designer pieces and are sustainable, clean and inspire the mindful shopper!
Another local fave is Botanic and Luxe, who also carries some different and yummy goodies!
You know I am a sucker for bribes for the kids or for unique toys to make our session even more fun.
Dyane and her people at Childish Toy Shop are my ultimate number-one stop for all things kids!
You can also spot a few fun prints from a previous life displayed there.
I love gathering musical instruments, bubbles, scooters, and all the fun stuff to keep kiddos entertained and motivated!
Again, I can’t stress enough that you gathering and running around town is unnecessary!!!
Mainly, because I myself have all the goodies from all these shops that I often bring to our sessions. I bring, blankets, toys, bubbles, treats, dresses, kids clothes. You name it, I probably have it! Just ask!
